jumpsuittin' around

over the past few summers, rompers have
become a wardrobe staple! as we transition into
fall, i am not quite ready to ditch the romper trend,
but it is often too chilly for shorts (romper style).
a jumpsuit, whether cropped, such as the one
i am wearing, or long, is a great weather-
appropriate alternative to a romper.
grab your denim or leather jacket, and you are
ready for brunch, date night, or girls'
night out!
disclosure: today, i am partnering with cy design studio. they graciously
provided me the earrings i am wearing in this post. as per usual,
 all opinions are my own!

jumpsuits come in all styles, lengths, and patterns
(glam, casual, sport, etc.). additionally, a jumpsuit
can be dressed up or down, depending
on your shoes and accessories.

i previously thought jumpsuits were 'not my style'
because they were often too short, too long, or hit
my mid-section in an odd place (i have a fairly
long torso), so finding one that fit well
was a struggle. i picked up the jumpsuit i am wearing
today at my local target (while 'grocery
shopping;' you know how it is).

despite purchasing it somewhat recently,
i have already worn it both to work and out for
coffee with a girlfriend. whether paired with
wedges, a flat sandal, or white sneakers,
a jumpsuit will leave you feeling feminine
and ultra chic!
the variety of ways you can style a
jumpsuit are seemingly endless! dress it up
with heels and a blazer; dress it down with
an oversized sweater and sneakers; find comfort
by pairing it with a denim jacket and slides;
you see? you need a jumpsuit (or two)
in your closet. are you convinced? ;)

wedges, a small clutch (the perfect size
for my essentials: car key, debit card, and phone),
a vintage-inspired bracelet, and teardrop earrings
completed my look!

jumpsuit: target (exact here), wedges: lucky brand,
bracelet and ring: forever 21, clutch: american eagle,
earrings: c/o cy design studio (exact here)

delicate, yet fun jewelry felt like
the perfect way to accessorize this look.
i opted to wear my gorgeous teardrop earrings, handmade
by candice of cy design studio. candice is a
passionate designer (and dog lover!), and her
skill and attention to detail are prominent with these
beautifully crafted earrings.

they are a matte gold
with polished czech beads. as fall and the
holidays quickly approach, i am eager
to style these earrings with a variety of sweaters,
blouses, and dresses. in the meantime, however,
i will be here jumpin' and hanging
 around in my jumpsuit!
xoxo.
